Investing in people, not just projects.

Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, we pair education, essential care and long-term support to help children and families in Limbe, Cameroon build a future they choose for themselves.

Our approach

Lasting change starts with the right kind of support.

Poverty rarely has a single cause, so we don't believe in a single solution. We pair support that meets an urgent need with support that builds a future, because real change happens when both move together. Everything below is how that plays out, day to day, in Limbe, with people we know by name.

Meet the need in front of us

Meals, school fees and safe spaces, so a child can focus on learning instead of simply getting by.

Invest in education

Scholarships and mentorship that give capable students the tools to change their own trajectory.

Stay for the long haul

Follow-up and mentorship that continue long after the first gift, because lasting change takes time.

Our programs

Two programs. One promise.

One invests in a student's future; the other protects a child's present.

The Mbome Scholarship

We don't just pay tuition. We stay with our scholars.

We identify students in Limbe with real academic promise and real financial need, then provide the support they need to actually finish — not just start — their education.

  • Full tuition, books and accommodation support
  • One-on-one mentorship throughout their studies
  • Selection through partnerships with local schools in Limbe
  • A path toward becoming future leaders in their own community

The Haven Project

No child should have to walk alone.

Haven exists for orphans and children at risk in Limbe, going beyond basic needs to give them a comprehensive safety net — education, nourishment and care, all in one place.

  • School fees, uniforms, books and after-school tutoring
  • Regular, balanced meals and nutritional support
  • Counseling, mentorship and safe spaces to heal and play
  • Ongoing follow-up, not a one-time intervention

How we work

From first contact to lasting change.

The same process guides every scholarship, meal and mentorship — coordinated from Dallas, delivered in Limbe.

1

Identify

We work with local schools and community members in Limbe to find the people who need support most.

2

Support

A scholarship, a meal, a skills workshop — hands-on help, not just a one-time gift.

3

Walk alongside

Mentorship and follow-up continue long after the first step.

4

Grow together

Scholars graduate, families grow more self-sufficient, and everyone is encouraged to give back.

What this looks like in practice.

Two people, two kinds of support, one shared way of working.

Simon BabilaMicroloan recipient & business owner
After a disaster, a microloan and business training helped Simon open a tailoring shop that now employs two others.
